After spending several years with Banana Beach Realty managing short-term vacation rentals on Navarre Beach and assisting with real estate transactions, Bob joined Abaca Mortgage in 2020 as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator.
As a licensed real estate professional, Bob offers clients the advantage of understanding both the financing and property sides of a transaction. Whether you’re purchasing a home, seeking financing, or navigating both processes simultaneously, he is committed to providing knowledgeable guidance every step of the way.
Outside of the office, Bob is an avid sportfisherman with a passion for offshore competition. He serves as a manager and mate aboard the Just Lookin’, a 92-foot Viking sportfishing yacht that has been featured on ESPN’s Sportfishing Network. Over the years, he has participated in dozens of prestigious billfish tournaments, including the Emerald Coast Billfish Championship (ECBC) in Destin, and has traveled extensively to fish in destinations such as Costa Rica, Hawaii, and the Florida Keys.
His love for the outdoors doesn’t end on the water. As a licensed Montana hunting guide, he leads clients on unforgettable big game hunts for elk, moose, mule deer, and whitetail deer, sharing his knowledge and passion for the wilderness every step of the way.
A lifelong athlete and competitive soccer player, Bob now enjoys spending his free time surfing and playing volleyball along the Gulf Coast. During league play, you can usually find him on the courts at Juana’s.
Bob is also a talented craftsman and woodworker. In 2023, he founded Banana Beach Woodworks, where he designs and builds custom tables, cabinetry, and one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces tailored to each client’s vision. His attention to detail, creativity, and dedication to quality are reflected in every project he undertakes.
